Vinegar + Baking Soda
To get your sheets more silky soft, toss them in the washing machine with 1 cup of baking soda and a half cup of vinegar and run a full cycle.
To help with softness, add a cup of epsom salt to a laundry tub of cool water and let your sheets soak for 24-48 hrs. Wash as usual and hang dry, or dry as usual.
Add a tennis ball in your dryer with your sheets on low, to help soften clothing and sheets by reducing or eliminating the stiffness of the material. If you prefer to not use tennis balls, try manufacturer-made dryer balls which will last for many loads.
Fill a laundry tub with cold water and add 6 tablespoons of borax to the tub. Add the sheets to the water, stir them around and leave them to soak overnight. Rinse thoroughly the next morning and dry as usual.
