Soon after Cardi B won her Grammy for Best Rap Rap Album for Invasion Of Privacy at the 2019 Grammy Awards, Ariana Grande took to Twitter to tweet “trash” while the rapper was accepting her award. She also wrote “Literal bulls***.”
Ariana, who chose to skip out on the award show due to some problems between her and the producers, quickly deleted her tweets after she began getting bashed for them. The singer went on to explain the tweets saying that she was angry that her ex boyfriend, Mac Miller didn’t receive the award instead.
“nothing to do w [Cardi]. Good for her. I promise. I’m sorry.”
She went on to say how she was mad at the the Grammys for inviting Mac’s entire family and did not give him the award. Cardi B took to her Instagram to share a post that says Mac’s family was rooting for her to win as well. “WE WON A FUCKIN GRAMMY 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆,” she wrote in the caption.

Many defended Cardi saying the 25-year-old femcee deserved the award and blamed some of the reason for Grande being upset was due to the fact she is BFFs with Nicki Minaj. Regardless of the reason behind the tweets from Ari, Cardi has been very successful during her short time in the music industry and gave a killer performance of “Money” at the Grammys.
