Ariana Grande dropped a new single called ‘Thank you, Next,’ and she addresses all her breakups from Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson and Mac Miller, who she calls an angel.
Thought I’d end up with Sean But he wasn’t a match / Wrote some songs about Ricky Now I listen and laugh / Even almost got married And for Pete, I’m so thankful / Wish I could say, “Thank you” to Malcolm ‘Cause he was an angel
One taught me love/One taught me patience And one taught me pain/ Now, I’m so amazing/I’ve loved and I’ve lost/
But that’s not what I see/So, look what I got/ Look what you taught me/And for that, I say
Thank you, next (Next)/Thank you, next (Next)/Thank you, next/I’m so fuckin’ grateful for my ex/Thank you, next (Next)/ Thank you, next (Next)/Thank you, next (Next)/I’m so fuckin’—
In response to Ariana’s new single, Pete Davidson addressed his breakup with the singer, 90 minutes following the songs release on SNL. “I know some of you are curious about the breakup, but the truth is, it’s nobody’s business. Sometimes things just don’t work out and that’s okay. She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world. Now please go vote on Tuesday, alright?”

A much better response from the comedian than last week when he took to SNL to poke fun at him and Ari’s engagement. Grande didn’t take the joke very well, taking to Twitter she said, ‘thank you, next,’ which ended up being the title of her new song — epic!
