Brandon Johnson was the drug dealer who openly admitted to giving Demi Lovato the dirty prescription drugs she took on the night of her overdose and now, according to Page Six, The L.A. County D.A. reportedly issued a warrant for his arrest. Johnson failed to appear for an arrangement from an arrest back in June for cocaine possession and DUI. Once the drug dealer is arrested he will be held on $26,000 bail, reports TMZ.
Brandon was arrested back in March for felony possession of a firearm and narcotics. He reportedly was carrying $10,000 cash, and a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun. The Daily News reported at the time that when searching Johnson’s home the police found “additional narcotics, ammunition, high capacity gun, rifle magazines, and three handguns, one of which was stolen.”
Johnson admitted to giving Demi Lovato drugs, but made it clear that they were not pharmaceutical. He said the drugs were oxycodone laced with fentanyl. Brandon will not face any charges for Demi’s overdose, because it the situation was handled as a medical emergency.
911 was called to Lovato’s home after her assistant found her unconscious and unresponsive in her bed. Paramedics arrived and were able to revive the singer with Narcan.
