Arrow Is Set To End After Season 8

Arrow Star Stephen Amell revealed on social that the CW series will be coming to an end after season 8. Amell also said that the final season will consist of 10 episodes.

“Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life . . . but you can’t be a vigilante forever,” he wrote. “Arrow will return for a final run of 10 episodes this Fall. There’s so much to say… for now I just want to say thank you,” Amell wrote to Twitter on Wednesday.

David Ramsey, who played Diggle since the first season, took to twitter to write, “What an awesome ride! @arrow fans have been the best any actor could’ve asked for! Thank you for helping me bring John Diggle/Spartan to life!!! Love all of you! Can’t wait for you to see what we have in stock for you. Let’s end on a high, shall we? #ARROW”

Rick Gonzalez, who portrayed Wild Dog since season 5, also thanked fans on Twitter, writing, “Thankful and grateful to have had the chance to bring to life on . Thank you to all the writers and producers and cast and crew for welcoming me with open arms. And a big hug to all the fans for the love. It’s our job to give you an amazing last 10 episodes.

Really curious to see how Arrow exits the final series. The tv series that first aired on October 10, 2012, is currently in the middle of its 7th season. Though it is sad to see the green arrow putting away his arrows, fans can still look forward to the next DC crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” which will go down sometime during the 8th season, and I bet it will be epic!
