Arrow is coming up on it’s 8th and final season, and Emily Bett Rickards has confirmed that she will not be a part of the shows final season. The actress took to Instagram to say goodbye to Felicity with a lengthy post, revealing she won’t be returning. “Felicity and I are a very tight two,” Rickards shared on Instagram. “But after one through seven we will be saying goodbye to you.”
Arrow’s final season will only be 10 episodes long, making it their shortest season to date. CW still has other popular superhero shows, including The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. The network is also gearing up to launch Batwoman.

❤️🖤💛💕💜💙 The time has come to talk of many memes. Of bows and arrows and superheroes and Olicity and Queens And why TGA is so damn hot And yes, canaries need more scenes… But wait just one minute before we go and do all of that For this makes me out of breath To have this not small chat Felicity and I are a very tight two But after one through seven we will be saying goodbye to you I thank you all for the time we’ve shared The elevators we have climbed The monsters we have faced and scared And The burgers we have dined I will keep her in my heart for always And I hope that you can too Because she would not be alive if it weren’t for all of you 💕 Love, Felicity and Me
Arrow will not be the same without Felicity Smoak, who has been a regular in the show since Season 2. It is unknown how they will fit her in the storyline, but it was reported that she is pregnant with Oliver’s child so, it will be interesting to watch for sure.
