Bill Clinton celebrated the #MeToo movement in an interview that aired on Monday, he expressed that he wouldn’t of done anything differently in response to the scandal with Lewinsky.
“I don’t think it would be an issue because people would be using the facts instead of the imagined facts,” he said in the interview on NBC’s “Today” show.
He was asked if he would handle the response to the affair with Monica, Bill responded “If the facts were the same today, I wouldn’t.”

Clinton also stated that he never actually apologized to Lewinsky and didn’t feel it was necessary either.
“I have never talked to her,” Mr. Clinton told the interviewer, Craig Melvin, of NBC News. “But I did say publicly on more than one occasion, that I was sorry. That’s very different. The apology was public.”
Bill Clinton is known to defect any allegations of sexual harassment, Three women have accused Clinton of sexual harassment and felt the situation was never resolved.
Clinton applauded the #MeToo movement in his interview. “I like the #MeToo movement,” said Clinton. “It’s way overdue. It doesn’t mean I agree with everything, I still have some questions about some of the decisions that have been made.”
