Everyone is still talking about the fight that went down between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj last month at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during NYFW. ” It was so fast! I heard somebody screaming—everybody recognized Cardi’s voice—people either got out of their way or took out their phones and started filming. Nicki was surrounded by a number of guards and barely even looked at her. Next thing you know, shoes are flying and Cardi is on her way out,” an eyewitness explained the incident to E! News.
Cardi took to Instagram following the fight to say she had enough, after Minaj dissed her daughter — an accusation Nicki later denied on Queen Radio. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper reveled the full story on how the feud really started between the two emcees.
New mom to Kulture is on the front cover of W Magazine and in the interview she says: “For a while now she has been taking many shots at me. I spoke to her twice before, and we came to an understanding. But she still kept it going.”

Cardi got furious at Nicki for liking and then unliking a post that was throwing shade at Cardi’s mothering skills. The 25-year-old rapper says that even though many felt like the NYFW party wasn’t the time to start a fight — she thought otherwise.
“I was going to make millions off my Bruno Mars tour, and I sacrificed that to stay with my daughter. I love my daughter. I am a good-a** f***ing mom. So for someone that don’t have a kid to like that comment? So many people say that the party was not the time or place, but I ain’t gonna catch another artist in the grocery store or down the block,” she said to the magazine.
