Demi Lovao is still in the hospital recovering from the overdose that nearly took her life on Tuesday, July 24. According to reports, Lovato is now “very, very sick.”
The singer is being cared for at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, the same hospital she was taken to when she was first discovered by her assistant, unconscious at her home. According to TMZ, the 25-year-old has been suffering from extreme nausea and a high fever.
Variety quoted a source at the hospital saying the “Sorry” singer “is under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery.”
Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety back in March. However, she revealed three months later in her song “Sober” that she had relapsed. Demi’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, and her ex-boyfriend of 6 years, Wilmer Valderrama have been by her side during her stay at the hospital.
