Dunkin’ is fully on board the plant-based trend. After just releasing their new beyond meat sausage breakfast sandwich at 163 locations across Manhattan on Wednesday, the company is now adding plant-based ice cream to their menu as well.
The company’s Baskin’ Robbins ice cream brand said on Thursday that it will debut two plant-based ice creams on August 1. The dairy-free ice creams are made from a blend coconut oil and almond butter.
Adding a plant-based sausage breakfast sandwich and dairy-free ice cream is a smart move for the business, giving the high demand for meat and dairy alternatives this year.
