An Orlando flight got delayed on Tuesday after a woman brought a squirrel on a Frontier Airlines flight headed from Orlando, Florida, to Cleveland. The Airlines says the passenger noted in her reservation that she would be bringing with her an “emotional support animal” but she failed to mention the animal was a squirrel.
The airlines says that rodents, including squirrels, are never allowed on flights. When the passenger refused to leave the plane, police were called to remove her. The authorities advised all other passengers to leave the plane, while they handled the woman, who was escorted off the plane into the main terminals.
The flight did eventually take off 2 hours later than originally planned.
