Kostas Antetokounmpo spent most of his career last season playing for the Dallas Mavs.
He recently went waivers now Toronto Raptors is expected to pick him up.
Rumors circulated that the Bucks were going to sign him but now the Raptors seem to be interested.
The way the NBA works is a player is released, they then clear “waivers.” The Mavericks send a note to all 30 teams that they no longer want to pay Kostas his contract.
This then goes out to the entire league, then any team in the NBA can claim him and continue his contract.
For the Bucks it appears they werent able to claim him fast enough and will reportly lose him to the Toronto Raptors.
