Suzanne Whang, who was the voice and face of “House Hunters” for almost a decade, died Tuesday after battling with breast cancer.
“She was an amazing brilliant light and will be missed,” her agent, Eddie Culbertson, told CNN on Friday. “We were together for over 20 years — I know my life is better having known her.”
Whang’s spouse, Jeff Vezain, posted details about her passing on Facebook.
“On Tuesday evening around 7:20pm, Suzanne breathed her last breath here at home, as I knelt beside her and caressed her,” he wrote. “For thirteen years she confronted cancer with courage, humor, determination and optimism.”
Ms. Whang was the host and narrator for “House Hunters” from 1999 to 2008. She also hosted the spinoff series “House Hunters International,” from 2006 to 2008.
She also made appearances on a wide range of TV shows, including “Arrested Development” and “Dexter.” From 2005 to 2008, she played Polly, a spa owner, on the NBC series “Las Vegas.”
