Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith got married in 1997 and though they have been through many obstacles over the last 21-years of marriage, Jada confesses to being “not mature enough” to get a divorce from her actor husband. During a preview Pinkett’s Red Table Talk series, with guest and longtime friend Toni Braxton, the ladies talk about divorce. Braxton, who is currently engaged to Birdman, divorced from her ex-husband Keri Lewis after 12-years of marriage in 2013.
“For me personally, I’m not mature enough to have a divorce,” Jada said in the clip. “I’m just not. I don’t think I would ever be mature enough, I don’t.”
Jada and Will share two children together, Jaden Smith, 20, and Willow Smith, 17. Will also has a son named Tre, who he had from his previous marriage. Pinkett-Smith admits that the idea of divorcing and dividing their assets sounds exhausting.
“Let me tell you, that’s when the red table turns upside down…and it won’t be red no more. This junk would be smashed in shambles…”
The new Red Table Talk episode will air on Monday.
