Jessica Alba is commited to being the best mom to her children. The 38-year-old actress revealed during Her Campus Media’s annual Her Conference that she goes to therapy with her oldest daughter, Honor, 10.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she goes to therapy with Honor to “learn to be a better mother to her and communicate better with her.”
Her decision to start attending therapy with her daughter comes from how she was raised as a child. “Some people think, like in my family, you talk to a priest and that’s it” she said.

This is my my world. My heart burst open the moment I became a mom almost 11 years ago. I became a soft, vulnerable, open women -fully comfortable in myself knowing that I’m far from perfect but I always try to do my best -my kiddos are my #1. There has been no greater gift in my life than being their mama. It’s messy, chaotic, hilarious, cozy, warm, joyful, hectic, frustrating, rewarding, and everything in between. Thank you @jondavisphoto for capturing so many moments of us and once in a while we get all kids smiling at the same time!!! “I didn’t grow up in an environment where you talked about this stuff, and it was just like shut it down and keep it moving…So I find a lot of inspiration just in talking to my kids,” Alba continued.
Jessica and her husband, Cash Warren, share three children together, Honor, along with daughter Haven, 7, and son Hayes, 1.
