Jimmy Butler has made it clear that he has no interest in playing for the Timberwolves reports from Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The NBA star requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves over contract issue’s he’s now giving a specific location he and his agent are leaning towards.

Previously Butler mentioned that he  had three preferred destinations: the Los Angeles Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks.

Now a little over a week later he has changed his mind and now wants to be with the Miami Heat.

The Timberwolves currently has not mentioned any team as front runners for the star when asked about the trade situation Thibodeau responded “Our reality is that he has requested a trade, so we’ll honor that,” Thibodeau told CBS Sports. “But we’re not just going to make any deal. He requested a trade and we’re going to honor his request. But we’re not going to do anything that’s bad for the Timberwolves. We’re going to do what’s good for the Timberwolves. We have to prioritize that. That’s what our job is.”

Teams in the NBA are rumored to be having problems with communicating with the Timberwolves and currently nothing appears to be set in stone until the trade happens.
