Jimmy Butler Traded To The Philadelphia 76ers

It’s official Jimmy Butler is no longer a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

There is a lot of people who believe this will make an immediate impact on the 76ers chances to contend this year.

Butler will be joining star players in Joel Embiid & Ben Simmons which makes them a much better team with the addition of the new star guard/forward.

The deal will send Dario Saric and Robert Covington to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Wolves feared they had to trade him, or they would lose him for nothing over the summer.

There has been so much drama following Butler this season.

Timberwolves got off to a really bad start for the season and have struggled to string together wins.

Butler continued to play for the Timberwolves averaging 21.3 ppg and was considered still their primary offensive weapon prior to the trade.

“Welcome to the best sports city in America,” quarterback Carson Wentz of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles tweeted to Butler.

One thing is for sure Butler is most likely smiling right now given he never felt his old teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins cared as much for winning as he did.
