The star forward Kawhi Leonard will be opting out of his contract with the Toronto Raptors.
This will make him a free agent allowing him to choose his team.
The Raptors will be aggressive to keep him given they won their very first championship after trading Kawhi Leonard for DeMar Derozan.
The Clippers have been linked to numerous rumors about him potentially signing to their team.
Leonard has not spoken publicly about his potential landing place.
Although Leonard opted out of his contract this doesn’t mean be will be eager to move on to the next team.
Currently the Raptors are the only team that can offer him a max contract worth $190 million over 5 years.
