Kevin Durant suffered a right calf injury back in May 8 while playing in the Western Conference Finals and hasn’t played in any NBA games since then.
Currently he’s listed as DNP for Game 2 of the NBA Finals and has shown his coach some progress that could lead to his return.
“Kevin is fine,” Kerr told reporters. “He didn’t go through our shootaround. He’s with our trainer, so he’s out obviously. Another day, another step forward in his rehab progress.”
Coach Kerr was optimistic about the star forward injury and when he was asked would Durant be able to participate soon he replied “It’s feasible.”. Fans are hoping Durant will return soon to compete for the NBA championship.
