Kim Kardashian has a lot going on, she is a reality star, soon to be mom of four, and entrepreneur, but she is taking on another title. Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer. She shared the news in Vogue’s May 2019 issue. The reality star revealed that she got a perfect score on her first test. “First year of law school, you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts. To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep,” Kim said.
Being a lawyer may seem random, but her late father, Robert Kardashian was an attorney, so it must run in the family. Kim’s interest in law has grown over the last year after meeting with president Trump back in May 2018 to get Alice Mary Johnson, who was serving life in prison for a first-time nonviolent drug offense, free.
The 39-year-old said many tried to convince her to not go to the White House, but she said, “It’s my reputation over someone’s life? Weigh that out. People talk sh*t about me all day long. It will just be another story about me versus someone getting their life back.”

Kim went on to play a huge role in the First Step Act that signed into law December 2018. I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” Kim said. “That was really a turning point for me.”
As for becoming a lawyer, Kim said, “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.” She will take her first-year law exam (“baby bar”) this Summer, and plans to take the bar exam in 2022.
