For weeks there has been speculation that Kyle Korver was going to the Utah Jazz. It’s official he’s been traded, Korver is considered one of the highest percentage shooters in the league.
The Cavs decided that Korver was not a good fit and decided to trade him so both teams could move on with building their rosters.
The Cavs will receive Utah’s own 2020 second round pick and a 2021 second round pick from the Washington Wizards via the Jazz.
Korver is currently 37-year-old and headed back to Utah, where he played from 2007-10.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the trade first as well as on several other media outlets on Wednesday.
