Lakers have officially announced that the starting point guard Lonzo Ball will not be playing any longer this season.
This comes shortly after the announcement that Brandon Ingram will not be playing for the remainder of this NBA season.
Currently Ball is averaging 9.9 ppg, 5.3 rebounds & 5.4 assists in 30.3 minutes of gameplay. He played 47 games so far this season and injured his ankle on January 19th vs the Houston Rockets.
Ball has had injury history in his first two seasons. A knee injury stopped him, limiting him to 52 games during his rookie season.
The Lakers will most likely continue to play Rajon Rondo in place of Lonzo Ball.
