23-year-old Nicholas Celius was arrested after him and two other men attempted to break in a New Orleans jail. Police are still on the hunt for the other two men behind the crime. The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office says the three men tried to scale a 12-foot fence and drop drugs and other contraband into the jail.
The men’s attempt was caught on several of the jail’s 800 cameras and officers were quick to respond to the break-in attempt.
Police say Celius was quickly caught and taken to the Orleans Justice Center. The 23-year-old was caught carrying a backpack containing marijuana, crack cocaine, heroin and smart watches.
