Global fashion search platform Lyst just released its Year in Fashion 2019 Report, which shows Meghan Markle as the Internet’s most searched-for “influencer” of 2019.
The report revealed that in 2019, the 38-year-olds outfits sparked a 216% increase in searches for similar pieces. The Club Monaco dress Markle wore to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu during her and Prince Harry’s Royal Tour of South Africa, sold out in less than 24 hours.
Also, during the tour, Meghan wore a midi skirt from J.Crew during a breakfast to discuss the issue of gender-based violence in the nation and increased web searches for the brand by 102%.
Other celebrities that joined the Dutchess in the most powerful dressed category included Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Billie Eilish and Cardi B.
