The Hornets are moving along with the development of their current roster. They’re now ready to waive Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

Throughout previous years  they’ve been reluctant to trade the forward but now appear to be ready to waive him.

Known for being selected #2 in the 2012 NBA draft. The small forward is also known for his defensive efforts and ability to lock down other players.

It’s no surprise he’ll have several teams inquire about his services the front runner appears to be the Mavs.

Dallas Mavericks is the team that is currently interested in signing him but it could make sense for him to join the Celtics as well.

Kidd-Gilchrist spent his entire NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets and was expected to be a free agent this upcoming off season.
