It seems as though Nicki Minaj still isn’t a big fan of Travis Scott. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres the rapper had a lot to say about her feelings toward Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy. While Minaj says she is not upset or bitter over Travis taking the number one album spot in the country — she still feels some type of way toward him.
During her sit down with Ellen, Nicki says she felt as though she got cheated out of the number one spot due to Kylie and Travis selling merchandise to get to the top of the charts. “The thing is, it’s not anger, it’s what’s right and what’s wrong and what’s fair. I’ve had a number two album, and I never cared. It’s just that when you have a number two album to someone who is selling shirts and merch, and selling passes for a tour that isn’t announced yet, it feels like you’re being tricked. It feels like someone is playing a game and like beating you at a game as opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music. He sold a lot of t-shirts and sweaters and tour passes, and we’re not going to have that!” Nicki explained.
Minaj wanted to make clear just how grateful she is to her fans who continue to support her. “I want to make sure I say this, because sometimes people think you’re ungrateful and I’m the most grateful person in the world. I love being grateful and remembering that things can be worse. I started from nothing. I’m one of those people; I get it. But I don’t like being bullied, and I don’t like being taken advantage of, and sometimes people use scare tactics against you because especially as a black woman, people will call you ‘angry’ or ‘bitter.’ So now it’s almost like we’re not allowed to defend ourselves or stand up for ourselves, and I’m not going to have that.”

The beef that Nicki has between Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner and even their daughter Stormi, has made things uncomfortable for Jenner, who had an awkward run in with the rapper at the VMAs.
“Kylie was very uncomfortable last night. She’s extremely sensitive to negative energy, so the drama with Nicki Minaj was hard for her to shake off. Kylie’s also not that comfortable in crowds, so that was a factor as well. While she was happy to be at the VMAs and proud to support Travis, she still battles anxiety — especially about having a run in with Nicki. Kylie and Travis went out of their way to avoid having a run in with Nicki,”a source told Hollywood Life at the time.
