Pink & Her Children Land The Cover Of People Magazine

Pink, and her two adorable children landed on the cover of  People magazine’s newly renamed “Beautiful”issue.

The Grammy-winning artist graced the cover of People alongside her two children, Willow Sage, 6, and 15-month-old Jameson Moon, who she shares with her husband, Carey Hart.  Pink gained so much praise from her speech last year at the MTV VMAs, where she gave a heartwarming story about teaching her daughter to never change herself.

“They say that I look like a boy or I am too masculine, too many opinions, my body is too strong … do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world? ‘No, mama.’ Do you see me selling out arenas around the world? ‘Yes, mama.’ … So baby girl, we don’t change.” Pink gave a shoutout to her daughter who was in the audience and said, “And you my darling girl are beautiful and I love you.”

The “Beautiful Drama” singer opened up to People Magazine about parenting.

“The thing about parenting is you never know if anything you’re doing is working,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “That’s been the most humbling thing for me. In my head, I sound amazing and then I turn around and her eyes are completely glazed over. I have no idea. We’ll see.”

People editorial director Jess Cagle explained the reasoning behind the new “Beautiful” cover.

“We’re renaming it “The Beautiful Issue” — to make clear that the issue is not a beauty contest. Nothing else has changed. As always it will feature beautiful women (and a few men) of all shapes, sizes and colors, and it will celebrate the most beautiful qualities of all: strength, humanity and artistry,” Cagle wrote.

We are not shocked at all seeing Pink grace the magazines cover — she’s freak’n awesome. However, Pink confessed to Ellen she LOL’d when  her and her kids were asked to be on the cover.

“I immediately turned to whoever was in the room and said, ‘Did you ever think this was as good as it gets?,’ Pink said.
