Selena Gomez stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night to talk about her recently released album Rare. The singer showed up looking stunning wearing a pink halter mini dress and her hair styled in a super chic retro look. While discussing her first album release in 4 years, the 27-year-old found out that the Wizards of Waverly Place theme song was the inspiration behind Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy.”
Jimmy played a snippet of both songs to compare, and they in fact have some similarities in beat. As for the title of her album, Gomez revealed that “The word is so special, and it means a lot.” “There are some girls hurting because they feel like they don’t fit in, but this word is eliminating that, because you weren’t meant to look like everyone else. You’re meant to be who you are and that’s rare.”
