The ‘Big Bang Theory’ is coming to an end. CBS has decided to end its most loved top comedy after twelve seasons, and reports claim that the show is going off because of Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper. According to reports, CBS was ready to sign up for two more seasons. However, Parsons wasn’t up for it.
It has been reported that the rest of the cast was ready to sign up for many more seasons. Cuoco has said that she would stay on the show for another 20 years. After CBS made the announcement, Parsons took to his social to post a picture of him along with this castmates, along with a lengthy, heartfelt message.
“It’s hard (nearly impossible, actually) to really accept that this is a picture of the first of the final 24 episodes we will shoot for The Big Bang Theory,” the actor started off saying.
The 45-year-old went on to show gratitude toward the shows “devoted viewers” and gave a big thanks to his crew “many, many” who the actor says was with them “since day one”.
Kaley Cuoco isn’t taking the news very well. The star who plays Penny on the show, told fans she was “drowning in tears.” — TBH, so are we — don’t go! As many fans know the show couldn’t possibly go on without Sheldon (Parsons character) so unfortunately, after the 12th season finale airs in spring 2019, the show will be no more. The shows exit came 2 years earlier than anticipated by CBS and way earlier than fans were expecting.
