Travis Scott has officially settled the lawsuit filed by DJ Paul of Three Six Mafia.
“Travis Scott and I have been in touch personally about this matter,” DJ Paul says about copyright infringement claim over the rapper’s popular song “No Bystanders”.
The famous rap group felt disrespected by the Houston native after he sampled parts of their song on “No Bystanders” the part of the song. The song Three Six Mafia felt was copied from was the hook on Three 6 Mafia’s 1997 song “Tear Da Club Up.”.
The amount that settled the dispute has not been disclose. Scott dropped his new Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly.
Scott also appeared alongside Ozzy Osbourne on Post Malone’s “Take What You Want,” and will release his new single “Highest In the Room,” on October 4th.
