Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan will return for Life-Size 2 in December. The new Life-Size picks up from the 2000 Disney film Life-Size, where Lindsay Lohan played Casey Stuart, who while grieving the loss her mother, attempted to cast a spell in hopes to bring her mother back to life. Instead, her Eve doll (played by Tyra Banks) came to life. The Disney movie was a hit in the 2000’s, so much so that Tyra is returning as Eve in a Christmas reboot.
Disney/Freeform released a description about what to expect in the upcoming movie that will focus on Grace Manning, played by Francia Raisa.
“Grace Manning (Francia Raisa) is the 20-something CEO of Marathon Toys, a huge toy company started by her mother that is most famous for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll. Grace is also in the middle of her quarter-life crisis, realizing she is in over her head as CEO. To make matters worse, her wild-child ways are causing the company’s stock to plummet. With the help of her young next-door neighbor, Grace’s old Eve doll (Tyra Banks) magically awakens to help get Grace back on track and give her the confidence to be the woman and leader Eve knows Grace can be.”
Life Size 2 will air on December 2, 2018, from 9-11 p.m. ET. Although it is not detailed how much of a role Lindsey Lohan will play in the new reboot, it has been confirmed she will indeed be returning.
Disney owned Freeform is airing a “25 Days of Christmas” special that begins in November leading up to Christmas. Life-Size 2 is one of the movies included, and like many fans — I can’t wait to watch it!
